Matthew Jackson | President

Our President, Matthew Jackson, started Pershing Technologies in 2009 armed with the tools and experience to lead the organization to success. With a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, his vision was to build Pershing into a services leader that excels in the design and implementation of technology systems.

Matt has been a part of the industry since 2002 and holds the InfoComm CTS-D certification as well as Cisco CCNA and CCDA. He has led multiple implementation teams for government as well as commercial customers and specializes in advanced visual communications technologies. He is an expert in service-oriented architecture (SOA), multimedia distribution, network systems engineering and integration, engineering process standardization, and enterprise audiovisual systems design. Under his leadership, Pershing has rapidly achieved its vision, becoming a recognized AV/IT industry expert.

Emily Hay | Vice President

Emily Hay, our Vice President, joined the Pershing team in 2010 and has been a recognized leader in the audiovisual industry since 2004. She has an extensive education in acoustics and music. Emily is responsible for managing all of our integrated audiovisual and network technology projects, implementing standardized design and documentation protocols, and leading our talented team in support of our most high profile clients.

Eric Echols | Vice President of Technology

Eric began his career in 2008 at an international A/E firm and joined Pershing in 2010 and quickly became a sought-after designer and consultant to renowned commercial, healthcare, education, and financial organizations. Eric holds the InfoComm CTS-D certification and is an active member of both the Audio Engineering Society (AES) and Acoustical Society of America (ASA).

He is keenly interested in the ways that technology integrates into and enhances the built environment. His love of art and music informs his approach to design and collaboration – a life of training as a musician taught the virtue and reward of practice and attention to detail as well as how to interact with and collaborate with others towards a common goal with each contributing their own part and specialty. In addition to his work at Pershing, Eric has taught graduate-level courses in acoustics and audiovisual systems design at Johns Hopkins and has participated in industry working groups.

Dylan Stoddard | Senior Systems Engineer

Dylan is an accomplished audiovisual systems engineer with over 18 years of digital multimedia and collaboration technology design and operations experience. Prior to his employment with Pershing, Dylan held positions as an AV Project Manager and Audiovisual Systems Technician, with a specialization in live sound for events and music performances. Since joining Pershing in 2014, Dylan has been involved with the design of highly complex audiovisual systems as well as the commissioning and programming of networked enterprise audio systems.

Dylan holds a Bachelor of Science in Audio Technology from American University (2001) and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of The District of Columbia (2007)

Patrick Dudiak | Senior Systems Engineer

Patrick joined Pershing in 2019 and has been an engineer and designer in the audiovisual live production industries since 2013. For over a decade, Patrick has worked on the design and implementation of a wide variety of large-scale systems in both live entertainment while with The Walt Disney Company and in the audiovisual industry with Pershing. Patrick earned his dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Media Arts & Entertainment and Theatrical Design & Production from Elon University. Patrick holds the Infocomm CTS certification, as well as numerous industry technology manufacturer certifications including QSC Q-SYS, Crestron NVX, Dataton Watchout, and Audinate Dante. At Pershing, Patrick is responsible for systems design and account management, supporting clients from the blue-sky design phase through on-site commissioning and programming. Patrick is also the resident lighting director for all production system designs.
